This side was created on my journey to more knowledge. It is the home of many of my plain text notes and howtos upgraded to Markdown.
The humble bee logo in the home page background is (C) by my youngest daughter.
“bowibit” is my old and venerable freelancer domain name and thus my copyright. Thanks, dear Manfred, for that.
I am a professional nexialist, some people call me even a chameleon regarding my talent to adapt fast to new situations.
You’ll find here some propaganda pages about me and perhaps in the future some lab notes, howtos and very subjective rants as on the old lab pages.
This stuff here is for pure “private” (freelancer) use, some IT finger practice and mostly to reduce the workload of my old man’s brain. And implies no warranties at all …
You’ve been warned.
Tools / Languages used to create this site:
- Codeberg’s Git server for the sources (support them, please!)
- DNS and domain hosted at all-inkl.com (Solid German professionals!)
- these SSG pages also hosted at all-inkl.com
- “hermit v2” Hugo theme - with little design overrides.
- Jamstack / Hugo
- Zed and Emacs (my favorite text editors!)
- Bash / Git / Jujutsu and other Consolero-favorites.
- the usual chaotic HTML and CSS editing needed.
- LM Studio and a zoo of LLamas and Qwens for some research to escape the box.
- Many many music tracks from Deezer Flow (really ze best!).
- A custom domain (this here) with special DNS entries to “hide” the hoster.
- My lab computers (moslty Macs and Tuxedos), which beside the usual tools run several VMs with Debian and OpenSUSE Tumbleweed Linux as development installations.
